Exciting news from the Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences! Dreamworks animated feature “How to Train Your Dragon” (IMDB, Official, Wikipedia) was nominated for an Academy Award as “Best Animated Feature“, alongside “Toy Story 3” and “The Illusionist”.

Angeleno-Swiss Simon Otto (Official, IMDB, YouTube, blog, swissinfo)  contributed to the creation of this Film as Head of Character Animation. We’re keeping fingers and toes crossed and look forward to the 83rd Academy Awards at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on February 27th on ABC!

Sincerest Congratulations for the nomination, and “in bocca al lupo” for February 27th, Simon!
