Claudia was among many honorees of the evening, including 60 MINUTES’ Correspondent Lesley Stahl, NBC News Senior Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel and KTTV’s John Schwada were honored at the Awards Gala, Sunday June 26 in the legendary Crystal Ballroom at the historic Biltmore Hotel in downtown LA.
Claudia Laffranchi is a Swiss media personality with extensive experience in print, television and radio. She is the host of the Piazza Grande screenings at the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland, http://www.pardo.ch, as well as the Festival’s Los Angeles correspondent. Currently she is the West Coast correspondent, specializing in cinema, for several Swiss and Italian media outlets.
